Advice needed - 10 yrs old s/daughter pressies?

Hey all,

I need some advice! Its my step-daughters 10th bday soon, & she literally has everything!!! Tonnes of make-up, clothes, DVD's, etc

Shes a grown up 10 yr old so doesn't play with toys, but loves her computer & DS.

So far, we've got her 2 x dvds (mama mia, & angus thongs) and Sims 3 for her PC. & thats it!

Any ideas what we can get her!!???

(now she's grown out of toys its gonna get harder & harder, lol!)

Gees, and I was gonna suggest makeup or clothes. LOL

What's another girly thing? How about treat her to a manicure or pedicure? Make her feel like a little grown up girly girl.

What about a nice necklace?

Yea thats a good idea - will take her for a manicure.

Have given her jewellery in the past (I work for a jewellery company!) and she just loses it - so not giving her anymore until she is responsible enough - think the trouble is she doesn't value things much as she has everything!

jeeeezo I have no idea!!

my daughters comin up 7 this yr.... luckily she still plays with toys and dolls and barbies and little pet shops etc but we were gonna get her a DS??? im still undecided...its a big present for a 7 yr old.. lol

.... I dont want her growin up and being into makeup etc...shes not allowed it anyway till shes in her teenage yrs her dad is adament of that..which i fully agree with.

hmmmm.... what about clothes??? Like I dunno clothes with stuff from high school musical or somethin? (again my kid doesnt watch high school musical.. shes too young for teenage romance films lol! So i dunno if thats fashionable for a 10 yr old or not!)

Gees thats a tuff one! Hope u get somethin sorted soon tho!!

oooooh thats a tough one!! My daughter will be 10 in June but luckily she is very into high school musical and hannah montana and her ds. my step daughter will be 6 in July so we are thinking of maybe getting them one of those go karts cos their cousin has one and they love it so they would love one of their own.
what about nail varnish set? Cds? a Cd player?

gift certificates are always good as then they can go and buy their own gifts. At that age I mostly wanted money as I was always saving for one thing or another.

Yea shes got itunes on her PC and I did buy her a personal mp3 player - but again - she lost that - so not buying her another one, until she's responsible for it!

My daughter turned 11 in January.I put aside £100 and asked what did she want to so with it.She chose Ice skating with 5 friends and what was left over she went shopping and chose her own clothes.We had a small party for her and I treated her to a new hair cut x

What about a dance mat? My daughter was 10 last month and we got her ds games and clothes. She got a dance mat at xmas and loves it
