Is this a little, I dont know, selfish to want another birthday?

I want another 21st birthday party, because I was 6 months pregnant for my first one! I want to celebrate BEING 21, rather than turning 21... because I missed out big time on a big b'day bash, you know?

I dont want presents, I dont want a fuss over me exactly (okay... a little fuss would be fine) I just want to go out to the city for drinks and dancing, baby free and celebrate being young and alive.

I feel a bit like I've not had a good b'day in my life! I didn't get a 20th birthday really cos I was really unwell, jut had my bestfriend and OH to keep me company and watch dvds and my 19th was okay, but 80% of my guests canceled at the last minute.... I ended up having another night out to compensate for my bad birthday, my 18th I passed out drunk at about 10:3pm! My 17th I had liver problems so I couldn't really go all out, my 16th was just me and a friend and our two boyfriends... and my bestfriend got alcohol poisioning... my 15th was sad cos I'd just broken up with my bf and the guy I liked made out with my bestfriend RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME at my party! I did't have a part on my 14 cos I had a fight with my dad and he wouldn't let me have boys to my party, so I cracked it and said "fine, I wont have one" I had pnemonia on my 13th and my parents had just seperated, my 12th me and my bestfriend (same one throughout) and I had a MASSIVE falling out, because she was jealous of my other friends, my 11th I'd just moved to a new town and I had no friends yet - except my bestfriend who I'd met my first day at that school and we'd been beest buddies every since.... my 10th birthday was AWESOME!!!! SO.... its been over a DECADE since I had a good birthday.... so.... I thnk I'm seriously entitled!!!

What do we think?

If you're selfish, then so am I. My 21st birthday was spent in emergency abdominal surgery and I wasn't even allowed to eat or drink. I want a 21st birthday again so I can eat cake. My 31st will be my 2nd 21st. When you hit 31, let it be your 21st again.

How about celebrate your 22nd and have a huge part for that! After all double numbers so you can havea double party!?

I also didnt have any parties from 18-21 , so missed my big ones as i was pregnant! Although im not too fussed , i really prefer a meal in with dvd nowadays!

I have a theory though... my birthdays are cursed!

So, having it between birthdays I might have a fighting chance at a good night!
