so so so annoyed

im in work now and my friend who i work with has been back and forwards to the loo for the past 2 days throwing up.

shes on the injection but all her symptoms are pg related.

i sent her an email today (even though she works opposite me) asking her if she was pg and she said

'God i hope not. ill take a test if this carries on but we wont keep it if i am'

i just dont know what to reply. im shocked and gutted. shes always said she doesnt want kids and it would ruin her career etc and they dont have enough money blah blah blah.

i just dont know if i can support her if she is pg and wants to get rid

Hunnie, I understand what you are thinking, and having the turn up for me yet again today after over a year of ttc, this pisses me off that there are so many unwanted pregnancies out there.

But, I firmly believe it is every woman's right to have a termination if needed/wanted. This girl has always said that she doesn't want kids, and you have to respect her rights to terminate if she is pg.

Some people just aren't maternal in any way, and it may actually be the wrong thing for her to have a child. Termination may be the best option.

All I can advise that you do is see if you can talk her into taking a test. The earlier the better. And then try and support her in whatever decision she makes. She may actually find that she feels different if and when she sees a BFP, but if she doesn't, then that's entirely her and he partners decision.

to you.

if shes on the injection then she was obviously doing all she could to prevent it from happening, however, no contraceptives are 100% unfortunately, i think you just need to respect her wishes, and realise that not all people want kids!
