Giving birth in the same hospital??

Hiya all,

I had Bethanie in a hospital in Croydon (where I used to live) but now I live in Hampshire, and soon moving to Guildford hopefully. I had one experience of the nearest hospital to us around here and don't like it there, plus it'd be nice to have each of my children born in the same hospital and one that I know I like and trust (it has one of the best maternity wards in the country apparently).

So, do any of you know if thats possible, or do you just get thrown in your nearest hospital?? Can I request to go elsewhere?

(By the way in case you're wondering about me travelling from Hampshire to Croydon whilst im having contractions.. that wouldn't be a problem as my mum lives in Croydon still.)

Ty

Turning up would be no problem, im sure no hospital can turn you away when you're in labour.

The only problem here would be that I want my ante-natal care in Guildford and want to pre-book the birthing centre at the Croydon hospital. Is there any rule that stops you doing this??

Anyone ?
