Just thought I would start a thread where we can all ask our stupid questions lol

My stupid question today is... why do yoghurts have that watery stuff on top?

Don't get me started....
What is the difference between a herb and a spice?
How do they get the stripes in to toothpaste?
How do blind people dream or what are their dreams like? maybe I have too much spare time to think about these things!

i'm not 100% sure but i would assume because the yoghurt ingredients start to separate, with the heavy ones falling to the bottom, and the water floating to the top.

good thread bexy

i believe a herb is the leaf part of the plant, whilst the spice is the other part

difference between herb and spice...
Spices are flavorings, often of tropical origin, that are dried. Most spices come from plant fruits, as is the case for mace, nutmeg, black pepper, and cardamom. Cinnamon comes from the bark of a shrubby tree, and ginger comes from the underground rhizome of a plant. Herbs, in the culinary sense, are leaves of plants that can be used either fresh or dried to season food. In the botanical sense, an herb is any plant that does not have woody perennial stems like a tree or shrub.
