To the folk that are having speed issues with the forum... have you tried cleaning up your machine a bit more than clearing the cookies? lol

I.e. like:

- deleting / removing all your temporary internet files
- having "up-to-date" antivirus software and running regular scans
- having "up-to-date" anti-spyware software that actively watches for ...er... spyware, and running a spyware check - even if u think your machine is safe

There's probably more suggestions but my brain hurts after work now lol

Most likely its SC's vast amount of plugin's into the forum so... lets all blame him hehe

Will keep an eye out myself on evening also.

Regards y'all
Nath.
my pc couldnt be any cleaner but it still times out.

The onyl issue i know of for my pc is i need more memory, but only this site is affected with the timing out.

do bear in mind that it may be the tickers to other sites that causes the delay in loading the pages... not making excuses... just thinking of external factors really

But will have a look soon

wow!! need sleep

Night.

Could very well be the tickers. I know a few of them have been down recently.

If the forum is slow or timesout you could try:-

Just to see if it make a difference.

I really don't think its the server & I'm no expert! I always MOAN to SC if something is wrong ... he passes on that I'm giving him loads & the tickers don't cause me bother even when they are down!

Crap PCs folks - Treat yourselves
