How To Host A Picture

How to host a picture.

Image Shack is the easiest & needs no registration.

http://imageshack.us/

You can upload any image from your computer or URL if known.

Make sure file is ticked (picture A) if you are uploading a file from your computer or URL is ticked if you know the URL is known (picture B) then click onto [HOST IT] ~ I have marked the correct way in red.

Once the picture has uploaded the links menu will appear for that picture.

You need the first option (Picture C) ~ Copy & paste into your reply or signature & press submit once you have finished. The picture should appear.

Photobucket requires registration but has the benefits of storing any files you upload for future reference family pictures, etc & create your own folders.

www.photobucket.com

After registration & login you can upload any image from your computer or URL if known.

To upload a picture from your computer click the browse button (A), find the picture you wish to upload from your files & click submit (C).

If the URL is know click on [Add Images From URL] (B) where you can paste the URL into the box & submit (C)

Both options allow you to upload multiple pictures at one time, to do this click onto the number box beside ‘Submit Multiple Images’ & select the desired number of images from the drop down menu you wish to upload in one go. The options to upload will be the same as uploading 1 image but with more browse boxes to insert file or URL.

Once the picture has uploaded the picture will be visible & the links menu will be underneath for that picture (F).

You need the third (last) option (G) ~ Copy & paste into your reply or signature & press submit once you have finished. The picture should appear.
