I dont think the most expensive bottle is necessarily going to be best for your own baby.

I hear all the time that folks babies dont like 'x' bottles......

I am using Tommee Tippee- have used them from first bottle feed and Anna is doing great with them - no spillages/dribbles etc.

i think its all just a matter of opinion. I use avent bottles only because i had bad experiences of the tt ctn leaking everywhere and the teats collapsing in on themselves. Im not that keen on the avent ones either as sometimes u get one that just constantly leaks. I have came to the conclusion that it doesnt really matter which bottle u buy

I've got the TT ones and they seem fine, they do leak but more so when LO is not feeding properly so i'm happy with them. I was just interested really.

I think it depends on the baby. Dr Browns are one of the more expensive types, but they can make a huge difference if you have a colicky baby. They have their downsides though - you have to learn how to keep from from leaking too much and usually get a few mild scalds along the way! They are also made up of 6 parts, so are a pain to sterilise and assemble.

For a baby without problems, my recommendation is for tommee tippee CTN. They have 4 parts and the teats can be assembled into the ring before sterilising. They aren't too expensive either, and don't leak unless you have the valve at the bottom when feeding. The only minor downsides are that you have to squeeze the valve open occasionally (the teat collapses if it sticks shut), and their variflow teats are very delicate, and have a tendency to split.

I agree it depends on baby and opinion.

I've tried Mothercare,Boots,Asda,Tommee Tippee CTN (and have soooo many of those lying around in the cupboard if anyone needs some ) but I've liked Avent best for both of my babies.

xxxx

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my MAM bottles. I tried every other bottle known to man and LO just wouldn't have any of it! They either leaked, split, collapsed or where a nightmare to clean etc.
