hi! How often r u girls feeding ur little ones at 3 wks and how many ounces?

My lil man is 2 1/2 weeks.

He is feeding 2 1/2- 4ozs every 3/4 hours.

Every feed is different depending on how hungry he is.

Every 2- 4 hrs (when he wakes up, he used to sleep loads) I used to give him between 2-3 oz per feed, but gradually I started to up his feeds. My advise, just feed on demand, when ur baby is hungry, just give him what he wants & dont stick to the tin. Babies r difr. xx

I used to count scoops, but was really frustrating. Just follow ur babies lead, & when he's not hungry he'll let u knw. U can never overfeed a baby this young

My little girl is 3 1/2 weeks and has anywhere between 2oz - 4oz, depending on how hungry she is. She feeds every 3-4 hours too. x

thanx ladies thats cool then thats wat i been doing! Got bit worried cus tin says shud b 4 hrs and my lil one seems to b more 3 than 4! X

Harriet is on 4oz every 4 hours, and give her a bit of water inbetween if she gets a bit grouchy like she's hungry (which she usually isnt, just wants something to do!! )

i give ellis water 2 when he bit edgy!! He really gud 2 b fair so he must b enjoyin wat i give hm!

I try and give Hannah water but she just screws her face up to say, why are you giving me this???? This doesnt taste like milk

She normally has a couple of sips and then spits it back out.

Is it necessary to give them water? x

i thnk evrybdy will say diff,my mum says ya shud and my midwife says yes,i give my lo it cus milks there food but they also nd a drink,like we do and water is gud 4 u! I just give it hm in between feeds if he grouchy! But i like to give hm at least 4 oz a day! He will only take an ounce a time anyhow! My lo screws his face up 2,but gets used 2 it afta a while!
