Please sign this petition to Gordon Brown!

oursarah posted in Baby Club today to say she was annoyed at Boots not giving points for first stage formula. I had no idea this was the case, and another poster said it was because the government do not allow the promotion of first stage formulas, as they only want to promote breast feeding.

It was pointed out that some mothers (like me) literally cannot breast feed, and it is nobody's business to interfere and attempt to manipulate in this way anyway (government or not).

This link will allow you to sign a petition (I didn't write it. but there were only 4 signatures) to Gordon Brown to stop penalising parents of breast fed babies, by allowing us to collect points/use vouchers no matter how we choose to feed our children.

Signed as well Not sooooo fussed about the earning points, but annoyed at not being able to spend them. And that even 1 tub of formula as part of a grocery shop disqualifies you from being eligible for any "spnd £x get money off" offers.

Thanks blahblahblah, great article. I also often felt awful for Evan in the beginning, because I thought 'God if he had been born in the wilderness, he would have starved'.
