I've signed too!

I gave up reading the "comments" under the article when one poster had put that statistically ff babies are less intelligent that bf.
B*****ks!

My 2 elder children are very intelligent and the only illness they have had are coughs and colds!

signed Really interesting article as well, I agree with it totally. I intended to bf, but couldn't. I felt guilty enough without all the dissaproving looks and comments, mostly from strangers or people I hardly know.

Yeah, it infuriates me too, even just an innocent sounding, 'oh, so you decided not to BF then...' reeeally gets my back up!

same here, I usually get 'so you're bf her then?', and when I say no she's ff along come all the dissaproving looks. At first I used to get all flustered feeling that I had to explain myself, that I'd intended to bf but didn't produce any milk so had no choice, but now I just ignore them. Still gets to me though.

I'm pregnant at the moment and I would like to bf however I have made a promise to myself that if I can't bf I won't beat myself up that I can't and I don't believe anyone else should make all you lovely mummies feel remotely bad for how you feed your beautiful babies.
So I've signed and I will be telling all my family and friends to sign too. Think this petition needs a good push x

Even though I am in America, do you ladies mind if I sign the petition? I agree that it should be no one's business weither a woman breast feeds or formula feeds, especially government.

sarahhoney - not long 'til your c-section! Good luck, and you're right to just try and take things in your stride!

Go for it Britt1986!

What's it like in the USA? DO they push BF the way they do here?
