I personally wouldnt use orange juice or prune juice on a baby just over a week old tbh, but belly massage and cycling their legs can often help

Babies don't have to go everyday, but if you notice he is straining like you mentioned, I found that the bicycle movements Vickie is talking about helped a lot! So does infant massage.

I also did something that I guess isn't recommended and I used iron fortified and regular formula, the iron can bung them up sometimes. I have read that they have enough iron stored up for the first 6 months so I wasn't overly concerned about that.. more worried about the hard poos she was having!

I wouldn't add anything to his bottle at his age personally in the juice dept..

ya, I'm not going to give him juice yet. All is good, hes been pooping lots.lol
just that one time he was having a hard time.
