Won't bring up wind

We changed LO's food from SMA to cow & gate comfort milk becuase of his colic. He seems a lot happier since which is great but he won't bring up any wind at all, or if he does, its just a few tiny burps.

However, he is farting loads and it seems to cause him quite a bit of pain. I think his poor wee bum is in agony. I don't know what to do to help him - he woke up during the night crying because of it. Has anyone else had this problem?

We went through this! She just refused to burp and had the worst farts and bubbles going through her that she would wake and scream. The move from tommee tippee CTN to Dr Browns has really helped, lots of bicycle legs and perseverance with burping.

At 11 weeks we moved back to normal cow and gate and she burps better and farts less but I think that is to do with getting older!

I feel your pain! Charlie used to simply take FOREVER to burp sometimes!

He is much better now though and has started to sometimes bring it up himself without me having to do anything.

The only thing we did that helped was giving him gripe water, so you could give that a whirl?
