Ruby doesn't care. I use cartons, so if it's a new one out of the cupboard, I give it as-is, but if an opened one from the fridge, then I warm it to take the chill off it. Bed time / dreamfeeds are always slightly warm though.

Aided honey - isn't it weird how things differ depending on where we live. Our SCBU were very insistent that Imis milk (oral and tube) must be at room temp to make it easier for her to digest

Yup its crazy........It also varied from nurse to nurse as well lol

With Landon I always gave it warm, but I didn't make in advance and here you don't have to boil water so I would just run the water until it got warm and then filled the bottle, added formula and was done

I believe they prefer warm! If I were starving and didn't have a choice I'd take what I could get... But my daughter has expressed with baby words that she likes them hot (very warm)...so that's how I make them. I know it's the easy and lazy way out not to rewarm the water but it would be like you drinking luke warm coffee or tea...good if you need it but definitely not the best.

the actual recommendations say that formula should be served lukewarm, that is when you test it on your wrist it sould feel neither hot nor cold - therefore pretty much room temp - i opened a carton and fed it to mine without warming it and in no way whatsoever did i use this method for easy/lazy purposes - the only reason i did it was the fact that the milk was at the recommened temp

Freya will have it straight from the fridge or room temp - she won't drink it warm. Guess it's just what she's used to We make feeds in advance and keep them in the fridge ready to use.

I put powder into filled bottles of water that are kept at room temp. Did this for the boys too, far easier.

mommy2baby, milk is nothing like tea, and how is it lazy? its lazy to use disposable nappies, buy any sort of baby food, use a washing machine in that case. Me, I do not have time to mess about with something my baby doesn't bother about.

Hoe dare you call people lazy for not doing as you do.
