Hours between feeds...

....do you count from the end of a feed or from the start???

I've had conflicting views...with my twin boys (10 years ago) I counted from the end but my midwife said you should count from the start!!

Just wondered what you all did???

yeah I do the same.. from the start.. bottles are at 12, 3, 6, 9 etc... however.. he is having half of the bottle, wont take anymore.. then and hour and a half later wants the other half.. so its like I am feeding every 2 hours or less lately- well the last couple of days anyways.. dunno whats going on. Maybe has summink to do with his colic I am desperately trying to get rid of/prevent!

Count from the start

You used to be able to set a 4 hour clock by mine at the start burt now she wants it sometimes an hour after a feed, and mostly 3 hourly - whereas 4 hours woudl be the ideal.
