Not a big eater

Anyone elses' baby not a big eater? When Harry should have been having a 5oz bottle for his age, the most he would take is 4ozs. Now he should be having a 6oz bottle according to the formula tub and he's still only taking 4ozs max.

I'm getting annoyed because everyone elses' babies seem to have full bottles at set times. I find myself trying to starve Harry just to make him hungry enough to possibly have a full bottle, but all that i spend ages trying to keep his mind off his rumbling tummy and then he still only has a 4oz bottle. At the moment he's feeding every 3-4 hours.

Anyone else have this and has anyone got any suggestions??

some babies just dont have huge appetites hun as long as hes gaining weight i wouldnt worry...i find sometimes as well if i make archie wait he gets full of wind and takes even less...he drinks anything from 3-51/2 oz depending on what mood hes in...sometimes even first thing in the morning after no bottle all night he'll only take 3 other times hell have only gone 3 hrs between and take nearer 6...i used to worry but now have just figured hes a fussy bugger and will only take what he wants when he wants it
hth xx

AJ has never followed the guidelines on the pack! I've even gotten myself into a right tizz about it a few times.

Some babies just arnt that hungry or cant take as much as others. I'd agree with louise, as long as he's gaining weight i wouldnt worry.
