Nursery craziness with feeding

Yesterday, was my 1st day at work, so prepared everything for DS to take to daycare.

He usually wakes up at 6am - drinks 6.5oz and sleeps till 10.30am where also has 6.5 oz then at 2.30pm again 6.5oz then at 6.30pm and finally at 11pm 7oz.

So gave daycare 3 bottles to prepare 6.5oz, and expected to use 2 or max 3 as DS would reach there sleeping at 7.30am... they told me @ the end of the day that I needed to bring 1 more bottle bec they feed all babies every 2 hours

Isnt every 2 hours too much?? I was feeding every 4 hours!! I told them to feed every 3.5-4 hrs, but again they said the same so I looked for the supervisor and wasnt there.. will call her tomorrow to tell her..

The issue is that I wasnt comfortable with every 2 hours.. Isnt normal to feed every 4hrs?? she told me DS slept a lot in the morning so she fed him while sleeping! I told her if he was hungry he would have waken up.

Am I exaggerating???????????????????????????????????????????????

I would of thought they would of gone with his routine and its certainly something you need to speak to the supervisor about it. I personally wouldnt be happy if they wasnt following my routine i dont mean following exactly but use it as a guide they seem to be trying to feed him loads more than he is use to.

No you know your routine hon and I agree that if he was sleeping and didnt wake up for a feed then he didnt need a feed.
I would definitely have a word with the supervisor and see what she says about it xx

I agree with this - the nursery should try and follow your home routine
