Should I increase his feeds?

Jayden is now 6 weeks old and recently I increased his bottles from 4oz to 5oz but now he is following the same pattern and is going thru a real whingey phase, just crying for no apparent reason, its driving me mad at times, Im thinking of putting him up to 6oz bottles but Im worried he will be having too much and will become really chunky, he was 6lb 12oz when he was born and a couple of weeks ago he was 8lb 12oz and Im getting him weighed 2moz

What do u think?, how many oz was ur LO's on at 6 weeks old?

TBH you shouldnt be worried about a baby being chunky if he needs the milk i would give it to him. Jacob was really chubby when smaller but is now long and normal.

A baby will take what it needs. If its had to much he will spit it up if he doesnt do this then he is taking enough. Also babie go through a massive growth spurt at 6 weeks and growth spurts can cause him to eat more anyway and then once it passes he could go back down again.

I have just given him his night time bottle and I added an extra oz and he finished it all off with no problems, hes now so happy playing in his chair before I put him up 2 bed

Gotta say Ema Jacob is so georgous, gonna be a lady killer when hes older

You could always try adding half an ounce instead of a full ounce, he may just want a tiny bit more. I know Brooke was like that sometimes, 5oz wasnt enough but 6oz was too much
