MAM feeding bottles

just curious as to why the MAM bottles that aren't ultivent aren't suitable for newborns, cos although its a long way off, i'd like to use these bottles, assuming my LO takes to them, but i'd rather not use the ultivent ones.

http://www.mambaby.co.uk/feeding.htm

the only thing i can actually see is that they have a fast flow teat which would obviously have to be changed. but theres nothing else i can see at all.
x

The silk ones etc dont have the anti colic system in the bottom ... if they are the ones what your talking about, plus obv the teat sizes.

i really think the anti-colic system does work. we started with avent and switched to mam's, they are soooooooo much better other than the teats, i wouldn't see any reason why they couldn't be used for a new born, although (we have these bottles too) they are quite big x
