cloth nappies and nursery...


does anyone whos kids wear cloth nappies go to nursery?

Seren's a cloth bum and goes two full days a week. I just put clean nappies in her bag, plus a waterproof bag for them to put the dirty nappies in. No probs.

i think ill mention it on mon wen i go in, as im interested in trying cloth nappies, just dunno how the nursey would be with it

I hope they agree - I don't see what the hassle is, they have to change a nappy anyway so what does it matter if its cloth or not. Its not like you are asking them to wash it - though how good would that be

My nursery said its fine if i send my 2 in cloth

Hi Yvanne

I maybe wrong but I thought Oftsed/Care Commission governs that childcare facilities are to accommodate things like cloth nappies etc. It will be written in their policy and procedures if you need to clarify.

hey, we went to check out our local nurseries last week and one said that they wouldnt even consider cloth nappies...i am hoping the nice one we liked will let me have them. i have my heart set on trying to be as eco as i can manage with babs...
