good old fairy cakes


i always thought it was flour, water + eggs but tried and they went wrong .. what am i missing? xx

4 oz of self raising flour,sugar and butter or marg and 2 eggs

that will be enuf for 12 cakes

if the mixture is very thick then yes u can add a small amount of water but u dont actually need to add water at all the eggs shud be enuf.

first add sugar and marg and mix together, then whisk ur eggs then add in small amounts to the sugar and marg! then after add ur self raising flour stir and done

done exactly what you said and they still didnt work out .. they were rock solid with no insides maybe i should face the fact i cant cook haha x

oh dear! ru sure u used self raising flour? try making something else like the box cakes instead lol
