| ¦For Sale¦Storchenwiege woven wrap 4.9m**Updated:action pics & reduced to £45posted** Storchenwiege woven wrap in 4.9m length. The colour is called Leo Turkis and is blue with a green thread running through it. This is a lovely supportive wrap which can be used for loads of different carries- front, back, hip and in lots of variations. Can be used from birth to toddler.
I bought this wrap a few weeks ago and have worn it twice. Lilia is about 28lbs but feels weightless in this as it distributes the weight really well and i could wear her all day if i wanted. here is their info: "The Storchenwiege Baby Sling is one of the most versatile carriers on the market, allowing you to experiment with a large range of different carrying positions. The unique weaving method used in the production of the fabric enables children to be carried up to a higher weight range than with other carriers, whilst also retaining its shape when in use, therefore reducing the amount of adjustment required. The Storchenwiege wraparound sling comes with a complete set of illustrated instructions for achieving the full range of carrying positions, which include on the front, on the hip and on the back. The strength of the fabric allows you to carry your child well in to toddlerhood, whilst still being supportive and soft enough to carry a newborn.
The size of the wrap you choose is dependent on your body size and not that of your baby. Please note that where two parents are wanting to use the same sling it is best to choose the length that suits the primary carrier as otherwise you could end up with more material than you need. Also, it is worth noting that in the learning phase (which is short!) with these slings that most parents prefer to have a little more material, so erring on the larger side may be a good idea if this is your first woven wraparound. Most families do very well with the 4.6m size.
The 'Leo' Fabric is a unique to Storchenwiege weave which gives a subtle two-tone colour effect up close, whilst looking like a solid colour from a distance. The fabric is as supportive as the stripe designs and is particularly suited to those parents looking for a neutral fabric choice.
Features of the Storchenwiege Baby Sling:
•Machine washable at up to 60°C, but should not be put in the tumble-dryer.
•Two years' guarantee when used in accordance within the manufacturer's care and usage recommendations
•Suitable from birth onwards
•100% Oeko-Tex certified cotton, dyes used are non-toxic and free of heavy metals
•Central marker and different coloured edging helps make tying that much easier
Highly recommended for:
Birth to toddler sling, parents with back problems, active parents, parents with mobility issues
Age/Weight Range: From birth to toddler"
Close up of the fabric:
