ah thanks everyone, I don't know what to do now. I want one that I know will definately let me hear babies heartbeat, as at this stage before you can feel movement thats the only reassurance you have that all is well and if I don't hear the heartbeat.........well I know I will panic!!!

I hired it just to take me up to the 20 week scan. it was a god send because I've got an anterior placenta (again) and I havent felt much movement until recently. It was lovely to lay in bed and listen to his HB before I went to sleep.

And when you get your deposit back it's money you'd forgotten all about!
