Freecycle - Good way of saving money on baby things ...

Just thought Id tell you girls what I got recently ...

A friend of mine is due very shortly and Ive recently picked up a playmat, a blow up play nest and loads of activity toys as well as bags of Next baby clothes for my LO and a nearly new Pilko pram with extras!! from Freecycle.

Im not shy in saying we dont have much money atm with maternity pay and I know there are others in similar situations ... see if theres a freecycle group in your area.

Usually done through Yahoo groups people post wanted and offers for all sorts of stuff but you have to be quick in replying if you see something you want - then you just pick it up for free. The main aim to to keep stuff from going to landfil and if someone can use it then all the better ...

If it helps save £10 /£20 and you dont mind second hand its worth a try
