We did it! (in nine weeks!)

Hey... I posted nine weeks ago that we were planning our wedding in a bit of a rush... well, the big day was yesterday, combined with our son's baptism, and it was all great and I am now a married lady!

It all went beautifully... have a FEW pics. I didn't take a single picture myself, kinda wish I had, we'll get proper pics from the photographer in due course... in the meantime, I have snagged a few from facebook, from my mother in law (!!!!!) and new sisters in law...

Adam was SO GOOD. he was just great. being passed round like a parcel can't be a lot of fun but he put on a brilliant show. it was so lovely to see my friends and family, but I felt a little thinly spread - like there wasn't enough of me (and enough time) to go round. also, tiring being ON all day. but fun as well. I enjoyed it a lot

dress was great (Amanda Wyatt from 2 years ago, got for £200 from eBay), bra kept me firmly in place (I was scared of popping out as I lost a bit of weight in the run-up). wrap was cosy and pretty. hair was shiny and nice... rosacea flared a bit but make-up toned it down to ok levels... flowers turned out fine even though we bought them from Marks & Spencer the day before and arranged them ourselves... bridesmaids were wonderful, kids were all very good (though my 2.5 yr old niece freaked out when it came to walk down the aisle and had to be carried by my sil) and our taxi didn't turn up to collect us after the ceremony (but neither did the taxi coming for one of our best family friends and her husband and so we shared one and it was actually lovely to spend a bit of time with them). food was nice I think but I hardly had any of it... speeches went well (OH was very very nervous managed to cobble something together, my dad's was very touching)... and it all went so so so quickly. everyone who was expected turned up. everyone said they had a great time. everyone LOVED the vicar... it was perfect.

so...
