We didn't take our boys and I am so glad. We really needed a break after the very busy couple of years and then the real stress of organising the wedding (which I was sure wouldn't be stressful!!) and they had a great time. Spent 4 days with husbands mum and 4 days with my mum and they loved it. Theo has also learnt soooo much in the past week - including counting and puzzles! I was shocked.

We were hoping to go on our own, but no one will have the kids!

My dad has booked us a week in the lakes but he said that we need to find a babysitter as they won't have them. OH mum is getting old so she's not up to it anymore. We were hoping just to have a few nights on our own then OH mum bring the kiddies up to us (only 1 1/2 hour drive and spend the day with us xx

maddi is definitely coming with us! we're all staying in Florida, whilst we get married, for the 2 weeks anyway, but i couldn't imagine leaving her tbh. my parents will be there, so they can have her on our wedding night, but other than that, she's part of us and the most important part

We will!

He'll be around 1.

Not sure where we are going yet (we really suck at this wedding planning because he's not due for 12 weeks and our mind is elsewhere)

But we are thinking the south of France... which is very exotic for us because we are Canadian I'm also considering a resort in the caribbean that has childcare.

We took our daughter with us, there's no way we could have left her for 2 weeks we would have missed her too much! We hired a villa in Kefalonia so she had her own pool to splash about in.
