am i to young?

i get engaged 2 months after turning 18. i want to get married next christmas, is 21 to young?

any other young brides? how did family take it?

any advice would be appreciated. thanks girlies mxxxx

I was married in '08 at age 19, my parents were fine with it since we had a baby and already lived together. If your ready then don't worry about your age

We got engaged at 18, but didn't marry for two years.
I don't think it's too young at all!

You're an adult! not too young hun. I'll be 23 and a couple of people said it's too young so I just asked when I should get married????? We have a baby who's nearly one and have been together 4 years lol not planning on leaving OH so why not get married!

me and Aaron (OH) got engaged when i was 18 and we are getting married july next year. ill be 21 by then too.

if you're sure you want to marry your OH then go for it hun.

No one can say you are too young, its up to you

For me, i'm very very glad I didn't get married young. I was with my partner at the time for over 3 yrs and we had a house, TTC etc but what I thought was wonderful really wasn't in the end. It took me a few years of life experience to be fully ready to be married.

Having said that, my mums friends got together at 13, married at 17 and they are still together 40 yrs later x

if you think you are ready then go for it!

I'm 21 and will still be 21 when I get married in April. I've been engaged since I was 19 and would be married already if we'd had the money!
So no, I don't think 21 is too young to get married!

No I don't think 21 is too young! I got engaged when I was 20 and will be 22 when I get married next year. You can't put an age on love and If you know what you want then I say go for it!

Another vote for 'not too young'! :-)
I'm bias, married at 22 last year and pregnant straight away, but I think it's def. a case of 'once you know, you know'

About 30 years ago we'd have been the majority remember!
Besides, my big bro and his wife got married when she was 16 (ran away to Gretna Green!) and have now been married 14 years with two little boys - everyone frowned on them but they're still together!

Don't let anyone tell you what to do to be happy
