I was engaged at 22 and married at 23 - so a bit older but all my friends kept saying I was far too young.

Ignore other people but also for yourself if you are sure that he is the one then i see no reason not to get married! I was overwhelmed when I first got engaged thinking that my life was over but not at all! Being married hasn't stopped me doing anything different!

No not too young, if you are both ready then it doewn't matter what other people think.
I will be 22 when I get married this summer!!

No one knows when there true love will come into there life for some people its later in life and for some they find theres earlyer in life

Im 19 got engaged New years Eve/day just gone .. were having our engagement party 17th april this year I turn 20 on the 6th april then were getting married 17th April 2011 so i will be 21 and 11 days old hehe

I know with a mental health condition its not as easy to just ignore it but if you want to go to bridal shop and have the 'full' wedding planning experience seen as you only get married once right! i wouldnt let some snotty shop assistant take that away from you!

If it's what you want to do, then go for it! My DH and me met in Sept 2005, lived together by Nov 2005, got engaged in Feb 2006, and married 1 yr to our first date in Sept 2006. We did things quick style, but it worked for us. And here we are, almost 4 years from our wedding anniversary, happy as can be, and expecting our first baby. And if we can survive me almost dying, his mom passing away, my 2 grandmothers passing, and being really poor for the first 2 years together (literally, at one point we couldn't afford toilet tissue)....then I think we can survive anything. =)

Also wanted to add, my wedding was 13 days after my 20th birthday too!

hey i'm 19 and will be getting married this april, i dont turn 20 till october.
oh is 22

my family were fine with it.
i dont think age matters as long as its well thought through
