I seen the most wonderful thing today

A lady walked through the highcross shopping centre in Leicester today, with her (guessing) 3month-ish son, boobie out, son having a good neck around and then back on the boob, her head held high and not even looking at all the people whispering and looking at her like she was an alien

And I just though "you go girl!" and felt so proud for her (bloody hormones make me so emotional lol)

Thats fantastic. Go her!
I'm lucky, over here it is normal to see women breastfeeding and people find it a good thing, even in public.

Good for her! I went out the other day and thought sod it - whenever Oliver needs feeding, I'm just gonna proudly do it. Sod what every thinks, what they can see etc. Guess what - he didn't want feeding once! Just need to keep my confidence up and make sure I go through with it next time!

Wow,I admire women like that. I'm far to shy for that and my husband would have a heart attack....It also doesnt help that I live in an arab country.Must be modest!

I thought that while the arab countries were modest they looked at breastfeeding differently because you're not being immodest by nursing your babe?

(Keep in mind I probably read this when I was PG with DS in 2006 lol)
