Expressed Milk


For all you BF Mummies how much expressed milk should i give Alfie for his night feed, thinking of introducing 1 bottle at night so DH can give him a feed but dunno how much to give him

I now have a bottle with 5oz in and then Oliver can take what he likes. He always has his last feed from me though and OH feeds him mid evening some time. You'll just have try and see what suits you all best.

Im starting doing that tonight as i need to pump to relieve mastitis (again!!) i normally get about 5oz and put it in the freezer so i think ill put the 5oz in a bottle and see how much he wants.

i would pump out as much as you can and see what he takes. when i pump ( for a missed feed) i usually get about 150-170 mls, but the babysitter said he only takes 100mls.
