3 mth feeding hourly through night

My baby is coming up to 4 mths and has started feeding like a newborn again. He sometimes went 4 hourly before this. Is he getting enough from me? I am constantly feeding again.

There is a terrible growth spurt/sleep regression at four months. It's totally normal, but it may take a couple weeks to regulate again.

I agree, just go with the flow and try to rest when you can. I found bed sharing to allow me to get the most sleep during this phase. It gets better. ACtually every stage gets better and better and easier and easier. Baby is just trying to tell your body that he/she's going thorugh a growth spurt and needs more milk, it's aclever system

Hi Hun - i feel your pain - mine is 5 months and still wakes hourly. I've tried everything....weaning onto a small amount of solids and last night was his first night in his own room......still woke every hour. If its any consolation, I'm getting used to the tiredness now and can cope better. Good luck xxx

My boy is going thru the same thing right now. Not up quiet as often but he is bottle fed. He was sleeping 7ish hours for his first stretch then another 4 hours. Now he is up after 3 and again 3 hours later. He is 4 months Thursday and is very big. 16.5 lbs and 26.5 inches. Was thinking maybe he needs food soon!?

My LO just started doing this as well, but went from 6-7 hours to 3-4. It's most likely a growth spurt. Hopefully it will pas quickly and you can get some sleep again!
