phantom menstruation

Bit of a back ground - I've not had a visit from AF since before DD (obviously pregnancy) she is 16months, nursing both her and DS (3). The last couple of day I've felt like complete crap, had nursing aversion and it's brought the memories of AF symptoms flooding back but no bleeding. I'm currently on daily OPKs as we'd like #3 but not even a sniff of a positive.

Anyone who has experienced this - do you remember the time between 'phantom menstruation' and your AF actually returning full force?

I think for me it was about 3 or 4 months. They were surprisingly regular! I also felt odd in the middle of my phantom cycle, which I suppose would relate to ovulation.

Yeah, thinking back 4-5 weeks I felt the same as I have the last couple of days. I'm a little excited AF could return soon

It might be worth making a little note when you get symptoms as it's easier to track that way, especially if you are hoping to conceive as soon as possible. I did find it took about 5 cycles before my luteal phase was long enough which i think is quite common (possibly more so as you're nursing two - well done for that!)

LP was def a problem when TTC DD, good idea about keeping note. This is after all why I started a TTC journal (just never remember to keep it updated lol)
