teething relief needed

can anyone recommend a good treatment for teething pain that is also ok for a breast fed baby? I've heard some can numb them so much it makes feeding difficult.

We use ambesol. It's honestly the best thing next to ashton parsons powders.

We're having this problem now too. I have some Dentinox teething gel but find it's not very strong. If you can find some anbesol from Canada/US, I always found that better. We've been giving lo 2.5mL of Calpol the last 2 nights because it's in such misery!

I've used Bonjela and Calpol Gel without any ill effects, not sure if they actually helped with the teething though as she still seemed cranky!
