Get him on there more often. That's the easiest and most assured way of making more milk.

Someone told me to drink tons of water, that it is supposed to help. I'm not sure if there is any truth to that though. I didn't want to read and run.

I don't know how old your baby is, but if they're under 6 weeks old, they need to be on the boobie a lot more than 3 times a day if you want to breastfeed.

Mine is 11 weeks old and she still eats every 3 hours that's 8 times a day. Prior to six weeks she was feeding every hour to every 2 hours. (That's at least 12 times a day)

Same goes for me too. I was feeding my LO every two hours, now that I am back at work I feed him him at 5:00 am, then pump at 6:00, then pump at 9:00 and 11:00, then feed him around 12:30, then pump again at 3:00, then feed him once I get home around 5:30 and finish out the night every two hours. I'm bad about not pumping once I get home because I have so much going on and I have noticed that if I don't pump every day in between feedings then I don't produce as much. It's hard to keep feeding and pumping because it takes time, but is well worth it in the end. I'm just trying to keep my supply up so I have enough food to send to daycare for him.

I found keeping her interested when we made the switch so easy because she wanted it. Before that it was a struggle and I'd have to put her on as soon as she woke up, before she knew she was hungry.
