Eating less?

Normally Connor eats every 1-3 hours for about 10-15 minutes but for the last two days he has been eating every 3 1/2 hours for around 20 minutes maybe. Starting to get a bit worried as last night he ate at 1am and didn't want to eat again until 8  Has anyone else experienced this? I do waking techniques (undressing him, changing him, playing with him) but he just doesn't want to eat as often as before.

obviously he is eating not as often, but more at a time

when stomach grows, they can take more milk in at a time and therefore can go for longer in between

nothing to worry about, if he still has wet and soiled nappies

Thanks for the reply it always feels nice to be reassured. He has been eating tons since then so he must of been satisfied since he didn't wake to eat that night.

Luckyme you are doing just fine. Sounds as though you have an abundant supply and bub fills up his tummy quite well. If he is satisfied then let him be. Some babies feed more often others less. There's no set rule on length of feedings and time in between.

He will develop his own schedule so just go with the flow.

Glad to hear the feedings are going well!
