Had a bad night with my lo on monday

She screamed all night long, We think it was due to wind and have since tried infacol which seems to of sorted her. Anyway on monday out of desperation we gave her a dummy (she is only 2 weeks old). ever since then when breast feeding she seems to latch on the breast but come off a few times. She is a very quick feeder anyway and is only on for 5 or 10 minutes at a time but now she comes off 2 or 3 times. Do you think this is to do with the dummy or just a stage. She is still doing wet and dirty nappies and still seems satisfied between feeds. She sleeps and has active times. Basically nothing has changed apart from her latch.

I doubt it is from the dummy, but hte only way to know for sure is to take it away and see if her latch changes. I gave my LO a dummy from about 2 weeks (11 days old, I think) and he did fine. He eventually rejected it on his own in a couple of months.
