thanks girls...actually yeah i'll get half an hour lunch so will just have to try to pump then, but if i can't for some reason then i'll have to squeeze in half an hour somewhere else...at least if i can do one 30 min session in the toilets and just dump the milk that should stop the engorgement and so on...

been reading about my milk going off and it seems its a problem some mums experience and there's nowt can be done about it other than scalding the milk after pumping then fridge/freezing it straight away...well there's no way of scalding the milk safely at work so thats definately confirmed my suspicions that my daytime milk i pump will need to be chucked! however, i'm gonna try scalding milk as if it works then i could pump and scald some when she goes to bed and use that for nursery or to put in porridge and stuff.

isabel is refusing milk from anywhere other than the 'source' and when i tried her with formula the other day she just thought that was a big game too the encouraging thing though is that she's taking a bit more water each time with a doidy cup so at least she should remain hydrated thank god!

have also been reading up about reverse-cycles (tigerlady i think this is what otter is doing with you) where the baby simply treats daytime as night time with no or minimal nursing then does all their nursing in the evening/night from mum...i suspect isabel will move to this too and that'll keep supply established and give her all her nutrients bye bye a half decent sleep pattern yet again...sigh!

glad i posted about a topic a few people are worried about cos then we can all learn from and help each other cos it's blooming stressful enough without going alone!!!

and tigerlady - sorry hun, not dropped by there properly in a while...not sure where time goes!!
