I've gotten pregnant whilst breastfeeding twice so would never trust it as a contraception, but have never used it as a contraception.

I got my af's back right away with my older 3, stopped post baby bleeding after about 4-5 weeks, had a week off and then got af as normal, I have breastfed all of my kids. I only stopped post baby bleeding with Ella this week (9 weeks!!) so am expecting to see af sometime soon, unfortunately.

Still waiting at 7 months.
Am enjoying the lack of PMT. Everyone seems to be saying that they are worse. Is the PMT worse too?

My bleeding/cramps were fairly usual and bearable but my pmt was much much much worse...don't know if it was just a bit of a shock for my body (it was my 1st af in 14 months ) I hope that was all it was because i won't lie, it was a hellish few days of being in the worst mood ever and very very emotional and actually feeling quite low

Thanks Rebaby. I'm not looking forward to it but it is best to expect the worst. I guess our hormones go haywire. It is good to know that it doesn't become a regular thing.

when my period first came back for a while I was a monster, I mean I was in a bad form and I always knew when my period was coming. I think evening prim rose could help only I just didnt take it when i was breastfeeding, I didnt know if I could,. No point now though as I am pregnant again.
