Breastfeeding and bottles

I've been exclusively breastfeeding for nearly 5 weeks and I'm considering expressing so my hubby can do a feed every now and then so I can catch up on some sleep. James cluster feeds every evening and rarely goes more 2 hrs between feeds. He's been away for 2 weeks and I could really do with some rest. The problem is it's really bothering me the thought of giving him a bottle and someone else feeding him. Does anyone else feel like this?

The first time I expressed at 5 weeks I hovered around looking over my boyfriend's shoulder the whole time he was feeding Dylan The first couple of times were a little weird as I did feel that feeding was my job. Once I got used to it though I was grateful for the break x

I cried the first time my LO had a bottle! I have to say though now I absolutely LOVE the freedom it gives me - and the extra sleep!

I really don't mind sharing feeding Daisy. My hubby feeds her every night and my mum's fed her twice too. As long as it was someone I trust I'd be happy for them to give her the bottle of EBM .
