Eating lots!! (me!)

Theakston is 8months now, had a bit of a feeding sesh/growth spurt thingie last week but is back to normal now but I still can't stop eating

I'm serious, I'm constantly hungry, it's not just mindless snacking, it's like "omg my stomach hurts I'm so hungry". Today I've had:

7am: Yoghurt & 2 scotch pancakes
11.30am: raisins & M&Ms
12.30pm: Roast med veg, houmous & flatbread (homemade so not too bad health wise!)
2pm: Treatsize Mars bar
4.30pm: Snack-a-jacks
5.30pm: Pasta bake
7.30pm: Strawberries
8pm: cereal bar
and I intend to have a cookie at 9pm

I make that 2445 calories. I know they say you can have 2500 cals when breastfeeding but a month ago I was happily living on 1700-2000, what the hells going on?! I'm famished!!

I'm eating TONNES more than I did when he was little and feeding so mych more frequently, anyone else had this?

Yes, I sure did when Brenn was about the same age. I was soooo hungry and I could out eat my DH. If I didn't eat I would just drop weight, so I had to make sure I ate plenty. It must be a big growth spurt time or something because I couldn't get enough food. It seemed to last a good month or so as well, but it does settle back.

Cheers for the reply. I'm actually quite hacked off cos after losing nearly 4 stone my weight loss has completely stopped, but I guess that's the appetite. He must be getting fattier milk or something.
