symptoms....

My baby for the last week has started screaming murder at the the nipple every now and again, atleast once a day. she has very smelly farts and isn't pooing too regulalry although I supplose that's common.

I was wondering if it's possible she may have colic? I don't know... Is it normal for babies to scream to much when offered the boob and refuse to latch on properly although they've been latching for WEEKS? Or refuse to latch on when latched to the opposite side and I switch her over for the switch nursing I've been told to do?

She's just become extremely fussy now, at 9 weeks. It gets REALLY bad sometimes.

My baby is doing the same lately. She hasn't had a poo in 4 days so I was thinking her tummy was hurting her or perhaps she has gas.

Mine too! She had a little poo yesterday though.

Thanks for the link vanessayogini. I suppose it may be just fussing but due to my weight gain issues with my baby I want her too feed as often as possible.

Great article.

For Hazel fussiness + missing dirty nappies was caused by oversupply, remedied by block feeding, which is possibly the only thing I couldn't see mentioned on that page
