Babies are DESIGNED to get through those first few days while you're milk is coming in, mother nature usually gets it right and if all babies were meant to be wolfing down 30mls per feed then you'd be making that much.. Colostrum is very nutrient dense and much thicker than formula and the babies who bf feed quite often while you're milk is coming in - they get enough! Tis all good!

Congratulations on your new baby (and bangers ) Glad your feeling a bit better now. You are right tho, some people are completely insensitive, very blinkered, and only ever see things from their point of view.

Your body WILL produce enough milk and your baby WILL know what to do and take what she needs.

Its far too easy to over stuff a baby when bottle feeding as there is a continuos drip coming from the teat. Good luck with your LO and with BF. Everyone is great on here so you'll get lots of support if you need it

Well Done Honey and Congratulations!

Ignore comments like that honey - my mum FF me and my bro and she is always piping up with silly comments like that.

as long as she gains steady weight and has plenty of wet and dirty nappies all is well!
don't worry if she looses a little of her birth weight though it's totally normal.

Well done you! Your baby's tummy is currently the size of a marble or olive so does it need half a bottle? I think not!
