Thanks everyone for the replies and suggestions - I have a good few things that I can try now - I love B&B - I would be so lost without it!

I had this too - it's almost like your body knows it's not your baby so doesn't let down! When I went back to work when jocelyn was 11.5 months old I would be able to express about 300mls in a shift but that was half at lunch and half in the evening, within 4 months though I was barely even getting 100mls.. I think your body just seems to know when it's your baby bf and make/let down more!

Did you ever try hand expressing? Might take out some of the hassle from having to wash/sterilise lots of kit?

Just wanted to let you know that I stopped giving the bottle for a few days and just let LO feed at the time we usually give a bottle - gave him a bottle today and expressed at that time and was easily able to get the full 5 ounces again -Yay!! So thanks for all the advice everyone - I think anothersquish was right in that the pump just wasn't stimulating my milk as well as baby does!
