Period came back and now gone again??

Did anyone else that's bfing have this happen to them?? It took about 5 months for me to get my period. Then I got it three months in a row quite regularly. Now this month, I've felt crampy for a week and a half and I swear I'm going to get my period ANY minute, but nothing. I've taken three tests but all were negative. I do remember feeling period like cramps when I was pregnant, but it was far enough into my pregnancy that I would have tested positive by now if I was. So I'm thinking maybe it's because I'm bfing?? And my hormones are just out of whack??
Has this happened to anyone??

My period came back after 4 months of BFing. It was a completely normal period, so I thought everything was back on track again. But except for a couple of days of really light spotting that was *exactly* identical to the implantation bleeding from when I got pregnant with my LO, there was no period this month, and I also got negative pregnancy test results.

I wish I knew the answer to this, I have been wondering the same thing! My period came in Jan and since then nothing. I've had cramping on and off for the last few weeks and then have noticed all sorts of "symptoms" of pregnancy that I am driving myself crazy. I know I should just test so I'm not stressing about it but I'm terrified about how I would feel if it came up positive.........

Ive read and have been told (by my OB) that pretty much ANYTHING is normal (period-wise) when you are breastfeeding.
I know that doesnt help though...

I gave birth in August and have only had 2 periods...

Thanks! I actually started spotting today so I don't know if it's going to get heavier or not.
