LO has had diarrhoea for 10 days now, interspersed with green poos. Dr said he was well and took LO to see hv this morning. She saw his poo and said as it didn't smell and he looked well he was ok. Thing is D is straining alot (so much I can see his hole :s) and the consistency is runnier than it was and now looks like green pesto. I do block feeding due to OALD.

Well, Molly has green poops now and then and the family doctor seemed very unconcerned and it does pass. Green isn't abnormal at all. As for the runny, Molly had a few days of this too but, again, it passed. It needs to be runny and happen more than 10 times to be considered diarrhoea.

It's easy to worry and both times I called the doctor but she was fine. x

Might be overfeeding my little boy gets this (we've had mushy pea colour to grass green) when he's feeding a lot. I spoke to my hv and she said its most likely nothing as hes eating and behaving normally, it could also be something in your diet that Lo doesn't like. Try not to worry too much. X

Hi

I read today that green poo can be an indication of colic
