| Mum (Mom) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Cambridge, UK Posts: 668 | hand expressing... am I insane? should I just pump? I've been happily breastfeeding Sini for over 8wks now. Me and my oh want him to feed her as well, since that is a part of this experience that he hasn't had a share of (well, sort of  ).I didn't want to buy a pump as I thought, well we can just start with one bottle feed per day and see how it goes. So for what I've been told, it would be approx 4oz a feed. So I'm planning to express by hand. Has anyone done this and could they tell me if I'm mad? Does it take forever???? I was thinking that it may be time consuming... |
