Though bf-ing stopped your periods? Mines come at just under 8 weeks!!!

Whats going on? I thought you werent meant to get periods?

I have been having period pains no and off for a few weeks but just thought that was normal and then today i am on period and have bad period pains!

Anyone else?

my doctor thinks i had my eriod ast week. I'm still getting the remnants (spotting) of post natal bleeding but there was a heavy increase last week

although if it was my period i'll be relieved as mine are usually extremely painful!

it does stop it for some, and not for others. It also makes a difference how long your baby nurses for and how often. I've also read that the difference can be in the night feed.

I just got my first period and Edward is almost 13 months old. He just weaned off of night feeds three weeks ago.

Some arnt so lucky, I remember when William was younger some here had their periods back again very soon mine didnt return for 8 months.

I wouldn't say I was "lucky" I had hoped to be pregnant by now

Mine came back when Otter was 14 weeks. And I got caught when he was only 5 months!

If your period is back, consider yourself fertile and take the necessary precautions if you don't want another baby yet.

same here, I wanted babies close to ages. Not happening

I had my period when Elliott was 11 weeks (last month). I haven't one this month though. I had a coil fitted today to be on the safe side though.xx

I've had 3 periods since my pp bleeding stopped. I seem to be getting my period 2 weeks after the last one ends! Its crazy, its lighter and shorter then my periods used to be but I can't stand bleeding so often. Its most likely due to the fact that we combi feed though. Poor DH got the snip and I'll probably need to be on BC anyways just to regulate my periods.
