I had a simple ring sling and loved it for feeding C.

Thanks, I don't know what to try, when I go out I take the pushchair, I can't wear baby and carry change bag and shopping. I think the ring sling looks easier, I wish there were shops to go and try all these things before making a decision.

I tried a ring sling in the beginning and Emma absolutely hated it. I gave up and decided I just wouldn't wear her but a few weeks ago I ordered a Moby to give it another shot and she actually loves it!! I also have a babyhawk and I can easily feed her in it as well. The moby is better for discreet feeding though but I always cover Emma with a blanket so both carriers have been amazing for me. I love being able to feed her and still have both hands free to grocery shop.

I have a sleepy wrap (similar to moby) and just tried bf Darwin in it at home. Can't flippin' do it! It was hard enough getting him in the ruddy thing on my own. Anyone got any tips?

I use a Moby and I have a woven wrap (less stretchy) for when the weather is a bit warmer. The key to the Moby is PRACTISE! Ive had Theo in front and back carries (A high Tibetan carry on the back where his cheek rests on my neck, the best wrap EVER for getting stuff done whilst carrying baby!) but practised them with a baby sized teddy bear first. Sounds silly but its good to be able to concentrate exactly on what goes where without worrying about dropping a newborn! The BF carry I use is one where you can pop the wrap on and place the baby into a "pocket" at the front and then just tighten so I tend to end up leaving the wrap on all day over a T shirt and just pop him in and out as and when.
