hey hun, contact your local children's centre as they often run BFing support groups with trained peeps to help

also, ophelia on the imps journal has experience with feeding a teeny baby as hers was a preemie and i remember she helped one of maybethistimes friends with latching as the baby was struggling

sorry to hear pump is hurting your nips...i'd recommend an electric with variable speed control (i got a mini medela electric off ebay £50 in shops and i paid £20 and it is excellent)

Can I just say, my paediatric Consultant actually recommended mixing EBM & formula when I was having difficulty expressing enough for an individual feed.

I am an exclusive expresser but have the benefit of my OH being home all the time (pre-operative leave) so he does the feeding while I do the pumping. I use a Medela Swing modified to work as a double pump.
