Breastmilk's Healing Properties?

So Beth had conjunctivitis in her eye yesterday. I Googled it to see what was best to do and advice varied from 'she is going to go blind, get her to the doctor immediately!' to 'wash with cooled boiled water'. I also found loads of references to cleaning her eye with breastmilk so I did that last night and she is pretty much cured this morning!

Did it really work I wonder or is it merely a coincidence? If it worked then i'm wondering what else boobie juice fixes!?

It is a common remedy for eye infections. It has loads of antibodies and antibiotic properties that will clear things up fast. It also helps baby acne in addition to the things listed above. Nature's remedy is usually best!

I use it for just about everything. My sisters boyfriend took a small bag to use on his eczema. I use it for Jacobs diaper rashes and skin rashes. DH used it on his itchy back. I have even heard you can use it in a pinch for contact solution or eye makeup remover. I feel like it is the miracle liquid.
